Deerhoof and Xiu Xiu Announce Fall Tour With Bonkers Video
Whenever weirdo rockers Deerhoof and Xiu Xiu team up, everybody wins. They already spent a chunk of the year together covering Joy Divsion’s classic Unknown Pleasures, and now it looks as though they’ll hit the road in tandem once again for a trek around the East Coast and Midwest. Their left-field stylings have always complemented each other well, and odds are if you’re a fan of one, you’ll quickly embrace the other after seeing them live in succession.
For this latest joint outing, the two bands even put together what might be the most batshit announcement video we’ve ever seen, featuring a Freudian psychiatrist interrogating members of the band and… a sock puppet?
