MMN Artist-Run Radio: Hyper Crush Give Us Their 2010 Favorites, Including Rick Ross and Arcade Fire (STREAM)
From time to time, MMN asks its favorite artists to create personally curated playlists for our curiosity-satisfying- and audio-streaming pleasure. Themes and styles will vary, but you’ll always know your favorite bands just a little better after listening.
Today’s MMN Artist Radio DJ is: Hyper Crush.
2011 just might be the year of Hyper Crush. Like recent tourmates Far East Movement, the L.A.-based act have successfully blended electro-bangers and hip-hop into dancefloor gold, something they’ve taken to the next level on “Kick Us Out,” their latest single on Universal Motown. While we’ll have to wait until next year for their full-length major label debut, Hyper Crush are giving us a taste of what they listened to in 2010 with this best-of list, featuring everyone from Rick Ross to the Arcade Fire. Check out the band’s full tracklist, and stream the entire playlist after the jump….
